W.Va. receives $3 million School Improvement Grant

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- West Virginia is among six states to receive School Improvement Grants from the U.S. Department of Education.
The state will receive $3,177,082, which will be distributed to its lowest-performing schools.
Delaware, Georgia, Mississippi, Nebraska, Virginia and the District of Columbia also will receive funding.
