Dozens resign from Boone County schools

DANVILLE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Roughly 40 employees of the Boone County School District are resigning amid the budget crisis.
Monday was the deadline to resign ahead of the 2016-17 school year.
Back on July 18, employees were told they would take a $4,000 pay cut as a way to help deal with the budget deficit in Boone County. They will also lose health and dental benefits.
