WVSEA membership is open to any undergraduate or graduate student who is pursuing a career in education at a public institution of higher education in West Virginia and who has yet to be employed. WVSEA’s mission is to help prospective educators develop an understanding of the education profession and assist in the transition from the campus to the classroom. By joining as a WVSEA member, you have access to NEA and WVEA’s vast resources, from professional publications to education research. You can also attend WVSEA/WVEA sponsored training and professional development programs to supplement your education. In addition, you are covered by NEA/WVEA’s $1 million liability insurance program every time you step into a classroom, as well as being able to participate in other special NEA/WVEA Member Benefits.
