WVEA Members Become Nationally Board Certified


A new group of educators have recently been given the honor of becoming Nationally Board Certified Teachers (NBCTs) in the state. This comes after years of hard work put into a program designed to develop, retain and recognize accomplished teachers and to generate ongoing improvement in schools nationwide. It is the most respected professional certification available in K-12 education. Over the years, more than 1,000 West Virginia educators have completed this vigorous program. WVEA members who are newly NBCTs include:
