WV school board delays Nicholas consolidation decision

Yet again, the West Virginia Board of Education has set a meeting agenda that doesn’t include a vote on the Nicholas County school board’s consolidation plan.
State board President Tom Campbell said March 20 that he anticipated Nicholas’ consolidation plan would be on the state board’s agenda for today. After a state School Building Authority meeting that day, Nicholas school board member A.J. Rogers, who’s also executive director of the West Virginia Association of School Administrators, said Campbell “shook my hand, looked me right in the eye and said we would be on the April 12 agenda.”
But the issue isn’t on today’s agenda, nor Thursday’s, and the public won’t even be allowed to talk about it
